After several exciting dates, the salesman invited Tina over to his house for a home-cooked dinner. When she sat down at the table, she noticed that the dishes were the dirtiest that she had ever seen in her life.
"Have these dishes ever been washed?" Tina asked, running her fingers over the grit and grime.
The salesman replied, "They're as clean as soap and water could get them."
Tina felt a bit apprehensive, but started eating. It was really delicious and she said so, despite the dirty dishes. When dinner was over, the salesman took the dishes outside whistled and yelled, "Here, Soap! Here, Water!"
Moral of the story. True sales professionals know that when you are treating a prospect to dinner, make sure that you're making a good impression. Your favorite restaurant might be the greasy spoon around the corner; but your prospect might enjoy their meals without a side order of cockroaches.

This joke brings back memories of my bar hopping days. My buddies and I used to go into this greasy spoon diner after closing down the bar and I would always order a cheese omelet and a fly swatter.
