First, reduce the biggest task you have left to accomplish today.
This is your "mantra."
In a low tone in your mind, repeat this mantra over and over in your mind, slowly. Extend the word out to fill about 3 seconds if you can.
Now, while chanting your mantra in your mind, or out loud in your office, or cubicle, or your car if you are a road warrior and no one else is around; simply focus on this graphic for 120 seconds or longer.

Okay, after receiving some private messages about this post from users who felt they were not experiencing the effects they thought they were supposed to, there is a way to validate whether or not you have focused on the image long enough for results to sink in.
Before running through the brain focus exercise again, you need to grab a blank, completely blank, plain white 8.5 X 11 inch sheet of paper. Place the sheet of paper on a flat surface, ideally on your desk next to your computer.
This time around extend the time you focus on the computer image to about 3 or 4 minutes.and right after your time is up, without blinking, shift your focus to the blank sheet of paper. Staring at the paper, you should noitce a faint green rectangle surrounded by a grey to black frame. If you are able to see the light green box; Congratulation the focus algorithm has worked!!!
Now you are all set to take on that tough Firday afternoon task before getting out and enjoying your weekend!!!

You need to focus for longer. Stare and really focus! Concentrate at the center of the movement, perhaps crossing and uncrossing your eyes until you're zeroed in.
