What an honor to be the first employee to share a little about me, and my role here at Jigsaw. I am Jenny Berthiaume, Jigsaw’s Community Manager. Many know me as JigsawGal, the voice in our community, The Corner, with almost 1,500 posted messages. In the 5+ years that I have been here, concurrently with many other things, I have had the unique opportunity to build and cultivate many awesome relationships with our most active members, communicate their needs and wants, and work cross functionally with every team in Jigsaw to bring their ideas to life.
Being part of an exciting and innovative movement in how we build and share a database of contact and company information through member contributions has been very exciting. Being the first to break the mold on how to publically manage contact information, and watch it evolve over the years has been an awesome journey to say the least. I love my job and really enjoy working with the stellar teams within Jigsaw. We truly have an amazing group of people!
Jigsaw is not only great for Sales, Marketing and Recruiting efforts, but has personally helped me to get to the "right people" in a particular company to hear my story, who in turn helped me get in to a sold out Marathon! Who would have thought that was possible?! A little tenacity coupled with great contact info was all it took. The sky's the limit!
A little snippet about me… I am an avid runner. My favorite race distances are half marathons. I have run a total of seven half’s, with my fastest race time being 2:03. Running has changed my life on many levels, but where I find the most enjoyment is being able to get lost in the rhythm of each and every stride and leave everything else behind for that moment. I believe running has challenged me to push beyond my comfort zone, which I can relate and use with every challenge life throws me.
What will that challenge be this year that pushes me beyond my comfort zone? Amongst many, I have been tasked to map every workflow and system my team uses on a daily basis, and incorporate every system into a Salesforce workflow. This is not an easy task, especially when you are programmed to function via spreadsheets. I welcome the challenge and will push beyond that comfort zone to learn a new way.
