Earlier this year, we touched upon why direct dial matters and how we made easier to find contacts with direct dial phone numbers in Connect, with an icon and by allowing you to filter for them. This is great example of new functionality we’ve introduced on the site to make you even more successful with Connect.
However, if you come across a number that is designated as a direct dial but is not, can you signal that it is misclassified? With our latest release, now you can.
Once you’ve purchased contacts, you may find one that actually does not have a direct dial. You will notice a new option on the business card page has been added:
If you select “Phone number is not direct dial” this window will appear:
You then have the opportunity to either specify the direct dial number or simply state the current number is not a direct dial. Either way, you’ll earn 5 points, just for letting us know!
The direct dial indicator is a great example of capabilities Connect opens up for the community. This is something that would have been difficult to achieve in our old website, and we are thrilled that those types of enhancements are now possible. We plan to add many more.
Hope you enjoy the feature and looking forward to your feedback.
