In our last release, Connect gave the community the ability to add, edit, and delete domains. After getting great feedback on these features, we decided to expand the feature set.
With our latest release, you member now have the added ability to move domains between companies. This will address the need to correct domains that are currently associated with the wrong company, and in the scenario where one company acquires the domain from another company.
When an email domain is moved to a new company, all contacts associated with the email domain will be move under the new company as well. As with other parts of our website, domain operations that impact a large number of contacts will be first routed to the Data Ops team.
A tool available to all of our members, the ability to move domains between companies and the ability to merge companies (which we’ll talk about next week) are part of our continued effort to improve and maintain quality in Connect.
