In honor of our host, Stingray, I'm taking my first stab at posting a joke in our Community...
A family had twin boys whose only resemblance to each other was their looks. If one felt it was too hot, the other thought it was too cold. If one said the TV was too loud, the other claimed the volume needed to be turned up. Opposite in every way, one was an eternal optimist, the other a doom and gloom pessimist.
Just to see what would happen, at Christmas time their father loaded the pessimist's room with every imaginable toy and game. The optimist's room he loaded with horse manure.
That night the father passed by the pessimist's room and found him sitting amid his new gifts crying bitterly.
"Why are you crying?" the father asked.
"Because my friends will be jealous, I'll have to read all these instructions before I can do anything with this stuff, I'll constantly need batteries, and my toys will eventually get broken." answered the pessimist twin.
Passing the optimist twin's room, the father found him dancing for joy in the pile of manure. "What are you so happy about?" he asked.
To which his optimist twin replied, "There's got to be a pony in here somewhere!"
Moral of the story: Behind EVERY dark cloud, there is a silver lining. You just have to be open enough to receive it!

or is it down to just @ facepainters and @ granbit at this point?? Anyone else out there?
Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone who showed up to take party in our Virtual Christmas party. Hopefully a good time was had by all! When it get's this late into a party I generally break into poetry.... and this one goes out to a great group of folks I had the pleasure of joining this year. The MVP's and DataDefenders.... It's been fun and I have learned a lot.
On that note, here's the Jigsaw version of "The Night Before Christmas!"
Twas the Night before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the net
Not a creature was stirring, not even ToolTent.
The contacts were hung in the server with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas would download from there.
The users were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of royalties danced in their heads.
And mamma in her nightgown, and I in my robe,
Had just completed a mass data upload.
When out of my email box there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to my windows I flew like a flash,
Got rid of the screensaver and emptied my cache.
What terror is this? My eyes they blazed red!
All my new contacts were somehow marked dead?
When, what to my wondering eyes should descend,
A group of net heroes, my data to defend!
With their little new leader, so lively and droll,
I knew in a moment it must be VastRole.
More rapid than jet planes her Defenders they came,
And she rallied, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Hecko! now, KindDate! now, LeftCage and Smithee!
On, Kerrick! On, Granbit! on, on Bad John and Daily!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now lock away! Lock away! Lock away all!"
When it was over and my data defended,
I went back to bed and slept quite contented.
But I heard them exclaim, as they flew out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
