Scuba diving. It is the most relaxing thing that I know. No matter what is going on in the World, once my head goes below the surface of the water, everything disappears and my mind focuses on my breathing, buoyancy and buddy. The sound of my own bubbles is soooooo soothing.
When that's not available, any physically exerting activity works very well also.
Or, a good tequila or single malt and cuban cigars on the back deck can be quite relaxing.

@RoyGBiV76: That's why I started. I always loved snorkelling. It's never too late.
I did all off my training in lakes (Ontario, Canada) and have done a lot of diving in The Great Lakes (Huron, Superior, Ontario) and the lakes and rivers of Ontario, Canada. I have also done a fair amount of diving in the Caribbean, Pacific and Atlantic.
Still have a few places that are on the bucket list, though. Great Barrier Reef, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean, for example.
