The All Contacts tab gives you quick access to all the contacts you've added or purchased, so you can easily follow up with prospects, check for changes, and update information.
The Royalty Contacts tab shows only your current royalty contacts. You become royalty owner when you add a contact and when you change a contact's key information. You lose royalty ownership if another community member changes the contact's key information.
On the Royalty Contacts tab, click View Lost Royalty Report to see the contacts for whom you no longer own royalty. The report shows contact info, the date each contact was updated, and the date you lost royalty for each contact. The report shows all lost royalties by default, but you can narrow the time period to Today, This Week, This Month, Past 3 Months, Past 6 Months, or Past Year.
These topics apply to both All Contacts and Royalty Contacts:
Use the filters in the left panel of the All Contacts and Royalty Contacts tabs to refine your lists. For example, you could refine your list to see only Director-level contacts you acquired in the last year, who have direct-dial phone numbers, and who work in the Consumer Electronics industry.
Use any combination of these filters to refine your list:
Click a contact name on the All Contacts and Royalty Contacts tabs to open the business card, where you can:
Open the Business Card History to see previous versions of the card. The history shows:
Tip: To see a member’s profile, click the screen name on the business card or in the New Royalty Owner column of the history. The profile shows the member’s contribution accuracy rating and contribution details.
You can view company information on both the All Contacts and the Royalty Contacts tabs.
Click a company name in the list to see the Basic Info page, which includes a link to the company's website, its headquarters address and phone, number of employees, and revenue.
The contacts at this company panel lists contacts in the Connect directory by job level and department. Click the blue links to gain access to the contacts who work for this company.
You can export your contacts from both All Contacts and Royalty Contacts, to capture their latest business information.
For example, you could set Show contacts Acquired to Anytime to show all contacts, then set Show Contacts Last Updated to Past 3 Months to export only those contacts and see recent changes to their information.
You can export contacts directly to a file, or add them to your shopping cart. You might want to use your shopping cart instead of exporting directly to a file if, for example, you're creating a list of contacts you've searched for and plan to buy, and want to add contacts you own to that list.
Note: We don't charge you when you export contacts from your contact lists—you already own them.
When you're ready to complete the export, open your cart. You can export some or all the contacts from the list of contacts in your cart, or quickly export all the contacts in your cart from the Cart Summary.
Note: If you're on the Connect Plus premium plan and have uploaded a suppression list, you'll see the Remove Suppressed Contacts button in the Cart Summary and Remove Suppressed Contacts in the Remove from Cart drop-down menu. Removing your suppressed contacts excludes them from your export.
