The Data.com Connect community is comprised of many dedicated, knowledgeable, passionate members. Among the two million plus Connect members, less than 1% are Rainmakers, people who have reached the highest tier of membership based on their quality data contributions. Among these top contributors, just a handful are selected as Data.com Connect Champions.
Connect Champions are not only Rainmakers, but are much more.
They act as positive influencers, role models and leaders. They also shine in one or more of the four Champions areas:
Twice a year, we select a new group of Connect Champions, based on their activity over the last six months. Today, I am proud to introduce the Winter 2014 Champions!
Those who excelled in Corner Elite, contributing lots of helpful posts to The Corner:
Those who excelled in User Group Leaders, hosting meetups and spreading the word of Connect:
Those who excelled in Data Defenders, helping report fraud and abuse and keeping the data updated:
Remember, you can excel in more than one area! Each of our Champions will receive Champion swag, a plaque for their desk, an avatar for The Corner, special privileges in The Corner, access to a special Champion board in The Corner, and an invitation to regular phone calls with the Data.com team.
Feel free to reach out to me or our Winter ‘14 Champions if you have any questions about their Champion area, or are interested in being involved in their Champion area or the Champions program.
The next class of Champions will be selected June 2015, and I’m excited to announce a few changes in the Champion program!
You may have noticed a new icon on our Champion wreath! We are adding a new category to reward those who contribute massive amounts of good data. The 5th Champion area is Top Adders and Updaters! We will be selecting two Champions from each area of adders and updaters.
We've made a few changes to our Champion areas, so be sure to view the updated information, more details to come in the following weeks.
