The "Search this contact on LinkedIn" button that appears to the right of contact cards on Connect is currently not working correctly.
After clicking on the button, you will encounter a "Page Not Found" error message. The button is not working due to LinkedIn's recent site redesign. We are currently working on a fix for this error; however. in the meantime, the suggested workaround for using this button is just to copy and paste the contact's name from Connect and then search for them in LinkedIn.

I filed a support ticket on this yesterday. The response I got was "Engineering has flagged your issue about Linked In search option from our website. As soon as I am notified about their findings I will let you know" -- Connect Support
If I hear an update from support, I will post it.

@ConnectRep Here is the update from Support anticipating it will take 2-3 weeks to fix (ie Mid-June):

@ConnectRep, it's still not working, getting the "Page not found" error. it always went to a Linked-In error page. Support says 2-3 weeks to fix it where it will go directly to contacts again. The work around has always been clicking the linked-in logo in the top left of the error page and searching manually by name.

@ConnectRep, once support corrects this issue, I sense that this button link will be changed to go directly to a generic linked-in search screen -- not directly to the same individual contact in LInked-In. It previously went directly to a contact in Linked-In if the contact name + company matched those in linked in. I fear the direct link is no longer possible due to LinkedIn replacing the company name with a serial number in the direct LinkedIn Contact URL.

this does not work for me, and I used this feature all the time, really slows things down for me, I simply use it to verify the person is where data.com states they are, real bummer
