Your post is a common one, and an opportunity for learning all around.
Firstly, if you do a search (upper right-hand of this page) you will see that "credit card" as a subject comes up several times in the past.
Secondly, you will see that the acceptance of Canadian credit cards specifically has been asked about:
And thirdly, you will see that the answer was to contact support: Staff does not monitor this part of the community, so you have to reach out to them directly.
However, you may want to call Salesforce, or if you are a customer, your representative to get a swifter answer. I am not sure though, that Salesforce is dealing with this issue as it did in the past.
