I'm posting this here because I'm sure other members have issues with this as well.
My points are being used on contacts whose direct numbers are incorrect. For instance, I just wasted 10 points on Starbucks Executive VP phone numbers that were in fact phone numbers for starbucks coffee stores in Washington.
Obviosuly I reported the direct phone numbers as inaccurate, but I now have to wait 1-3 days for the points to be returned. This is frusterating and not good policy. I'm out of points, and now I have to wait for them to be returned to me.

@SunnyCanoe96, what do you mean 'reported the direct phone numbers as inaccurate'? To the right of the contact there is a section that says 'Do you have better info'. The last item says 'phone number is incorrect' Did you select this? By doing so, you should have been immediately & automatically credited +5 points (resulting in no point loss) plus the bad phone number would have been removed. Alternatively, if you selected 'Update Business Card Info', you can also delete an incorrect phone number and/or replace it with the correct direct dial, in which case you could receive +10 points. If you did either of these things and you were not immediately credited +5 points, I suggest you contact support. Notwithstanding, if you contacted support to 'report' a phone number is invalid, that is not supports responsibility. They would instruct you to follow the above as support is not reponsible for either the accuracy or updating the contacts as Connect is primarily user supported for adds, updates and deativations, with the exception of automated technology that deactivates/reactivates contacts that fail email validation, detected fraudulent updates, etc..

Seems like I know, whats your problem.
Not all contacts contain direct numbers, if there is no direct number sign in the seach (looks like little phone with red) then there will only be company phone.
Look, to get if the contact will have direct check the text under the title, if you see Get this contact's phone and email, then there is no direct there, and if there is Get this contact's direct dial and email , then you'll get the number and it can be right.
The reports for wrong number you did are about the company number, probably those will be denied.

I understand your frustration. A large part of the waiting period, however, is to allow for verification. There have been users who in the past abused the system by marking data incorrect haphazardly (or deliberately without verification) in order to quickly earn points.This helps prevent that abuse... and you shouldn't be losing anything - as long as you mark the #s incorrect, you should be breaking even.
