It's been always good when searching contacts in Data.com it would help me save the purchasing of data by letting me search an email address when prospecting for both new business and suppliers to see if someone didn't mislead me. I would search it in the system and it would show up with phone number and email address in Data.
I now have come to realize when I search a contact's email address in Data.com and it's already in the system and shows the wrong address, it doesn't show anything up asides from me telling it's already in the Data.com database.
Why did they remove such a useful feature because it's a nice way to save us from buying contacts?

Searching by email
Not the best, still a bit of solution I noticed myself, if you are trying to reach the contact with the exact same email as you enter, you can try pushing ADD and put the email there, if the contact with this email exists, it will direct you to it instanly, without creation form, but still you will need to purchase it to see the numbers or this email. If you can see the form to create a contact means there is no contact with Exatc same spelling of emal.
Btw, if you found the contact this way and the email is different, when you buy contact, better check the history of changes, there is possibility that email was changed.
I whish it will help you at some way.

@MagicWatch92if you purchase a contact for -5 pts and it is incorrect and you either fix it (+5 pts) or deactivate if they are no longer at company (+5 pts), it doesnt cost you anything...
