Ok, so I came across a company that now has a different owner. How do I go about changing that info? I've tried updating the contacts with new email addresses but it will not let me. Thanks in advnce for your help.

@FoamyHome74, if the old owner is no longer with the company, deactivate the contact. If the new owner is not yet in the database, add them as a new contact. You should not be changing the identity of an existing contact.
@FoamyHome74, even if a company is purchased by another, if the website remains so should the listing in connect. It should only be merged with the new owner if the URL forwards to the new owner. Unfortunately the family tree which linked companies and their subsidiaries is no longer part of connect, Unfortunately, there is no way to link owner with subsidiaries anymore... I miss it. If you merge an acquired company iwth a new owner and the websites are different, you will incur penalties. Ive gotten penalties for trying to merge websites for companies with multiple URL for the parent and gotten dinged with penalties because the sites werent identical. Ive also gotten penalties for merging canadian with their US counterparts, but they get rejected becasue they are not identical too... Hope this helps.
