Hi There, I am writing this note after noticing a drastic decrease in the points earned on Data.com connect which specifies
|Points adjusted by administrator (ref: 10676212)|
. I was wondering what would be the reason for this? would appreciate help with an appropriate answer... Thank You

There are a few reasons this could have taken place:
-When the system verified your data, emails may have shown to be incorrect
-If another user updates your data within a short period (90 days?) after your contribution, they take ownership and you lose credit
-A direct dial may have been found to have actually been a main # or switchboard
Generally any contributions go through a review period before being rated. As a new member, your contributions go through a more comprehensive review. Once you pass the "rookie" stage, you will receive the points immediately, but your account rating takes time to be updated. If your rating drops too low, you can lose privileges.

Smartloop Thank you for your question I hope to be able to help you a bit. Penalties can be incurred if you add or update a contact, then that same contact is changed by another member within the first 45 days of your action (and you don't revert it back to its previous version). You can view a breakdown of this activity by navigating to https://connect.data.com/mysettings/pointhistory and filtering for the current month.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions or concerns
