honesty and experience. I won't take a customer if i don't think i am the right fit for them and i make sure my customers understand why they should choose me (beyond the sales fluff)

The nature of response is situationally nuanced, but yes, including my own management.
It doesn't matter if it's a sales call, or an internal meeting. Instead of a direct call out, I prefer the better outcomes generated by an instructional lesson or example.
It helps the other understand much better without me being confrontational, and they don't look bad in front of their team.
A good dancer doesn't step on thier partner's toes.
Do you call the DM out on it?
I know when I experience that but I usually pass as arguring is pointless for me.
