I'm way more introverted then extroverted. I do call myself an introverted extrovert meaning when I do have to go outside for meetings and such I can turn to my suave, debonair, witty, self.
Anyone else like this? What have you done to improve that aspect?

i can talk to anyone, but i have coached others who wanted to be in sales, with NO gift of gab, and even phone fright.
I took them to the local Walmart, made them stand in the longest line there, just to buy some gum or something, and coached them to strike up a chat with the person in front of them in line. Most were able to get it. some not.

Yes, I am more introverted than extroverted. I have to work every day at overcoming this.
I am not shy and I can talk with anyone, but I am not good at being the initiator of the conversation.
I also use the same technique of striking up a conversation with people in line at banks, grocery stores, etc., and this helps a lot. I have also forced myself to accept public speaking engagements and have done some volunteer work to get myself into unfamiliar situations where I am forced to open up more. Toastmasters is also a good way to get out of your comfort zone.
